It is important that your body has been filled with the correct fuel before training. This will optimise your workout by helping with your performance and aiding recovery. I would recommend something with a bit of fat in it for a quick and effective energy source and chocked full of fibre, for example a smoothie would be ideal with lots of fruit so your body can process and utilise the fuel efficiently.
