Personal training begins with you. We take the time to get to know you, to fully understand your needs, to appreciate your concerns and to make sure that we provide you with specific advice, knowledge and instruction so that you get the results you deserve. Our personal training sessions are fun, motivational and enjoyable whilst offering you safe effective guidance on each individual exercise. Every exercise that is performed in these sessions is functional and safe. We will then write you a specific programme with nutritional advice.
Stay even more motivated by training with a loved one, family member, friend or even a neighbour with our partner training scheme. Remember you can spur each other on, share training sessions and also share the cost.
When the Covid 19 pandemic hit in 2020, we decided to take all of our personal training services online and still offer this service today. The beauty of online training is that it can be done anytime, anywhere. All sessions are 45 minutes long. All exercises can be body weight exercises, meaning you don’t need any equipment to benefit from the session. If you have your own equipment we can also incorporate this.
Everybody wants to look good for their wedding or holiday, whether you are male or female, and what better way to do this than by using a personal trainer. You can train as an individual or as a couple and push each other to see the results. We can help you reach those goals by keeping you motivated and on target all the way.
Sign up for an intensive package; this can be 4, 6 or 8 weeks prior to the wedding date, and will include intense personal training, a training plan and a nutrition package in order to reach that target for your big day.
All managers know how important it is to have a healthy, happy work environment. If you have a gym, studio or grass area at work, then we can offer training sessions. Circuits and core stability training during the lunch time or after work are an excellent way to train in a short space of time and with a large group.
Sports specific training is not only aimed at athletes at the top level but also at sports people all the way through to grass roots and amateur level. The idea behind the training is to look at the biomechanics of the human body used in that specific sport, then adapt and recreate these as functional movements in the training sessions. This has proven not only to increase performance but also to reduce the risk of injury in sport.
Some example areas that we specialise in are football strength and conditioning, long distance running and golf specialisation.
Food should be used to refuel the body, help aid recovery and improve performance. Most people think exercise is a way to burn off what they have eaten…..Ideally, this should be the other way around, you should use nutrition to replace and replenish the energy, salts and nutrients you have used during exercise.
As a rule of thumb, weight loss is generally 75 percent diet and 25 percent exercise for short term goals. However, only about 5% of dieters are actually successful in keeping weight off, so to maintain a healthy lifestyle, diet, nutrition and exercise are all required.
