Contrary to belief, creatine’s goal is not simply to build muscle. Creatine is responsible for helping produce your body’s main source of energy, adenosine tri-phosphate (ATP). With more of this energy being available to use during your workouts, it means you are able to train for longer and push yourself harder which can lead to an increase in building muscle. If you decide to use creatine I would recommend using creatine monohydrate which is the most pure form, take between 5-10g during a workout.
