Since working with Tom (4+ months now) my main aim was to improve my fitness level and build muscle, after snapping my ACL doctors ruled me out of all physical action for several months… Not only has tom helped me improve my physical fitness he has also helped strengthen my knee in the last few weeks. I heard about Whiteway Fitness through two friends of mine who had Tom as their PT. Although a relatively active person and keen netballer, I wasn’t happy with my body, fitness or nutrition. After putting on weight at uni, and then trying to lose it quickly and unhealthily by restricting my food intake and having a ‘diet’ protein shake for breakfast every day, I decided it was time I needed to get some help with my nutrition and exercise. I started training with Tom in September 2016, and I am so impressed with the results so far. I have reduced my body fat %, increased my muscle mass, increased my fitness, and also become more flexible! This is all from following and trusting in Tom’s expert advice on the body, nutrition and exercise. My diet has also changed so much without me even realising, and I feel so much better for it. Tom tailors your session plans and workouts for your individual goals, pushes you when you need it, and is always so encouraging. The sessions are challenging, but always enjoyable. Even though you’re working hard, you will always have a laugh with Tom in your sessions. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for a friendly and dedicated personal trainer who helps you to reach your individual goals.

I started attending Tom’s bootcamp following the birth of my first baby. I was a bit nervous about it at first as my fitness levels were not what they used to be so I roped in a friend to come with me. Tom is very encouraging and always makes sure that the sessions are suitable for all fitness levels but challenging enough for you to make progress. People said I was mad doing a bootcamp but it has helped me get the results I was looking for and I can honestly say that it is really enjoyable.

I have been working with Tom since November 2015 and the results have been great. Since having children I had tried all sorts of fitness classes etc seeing no real improvement in my body shape or fitness, but since doing sessions with Tom I am overwhelmed by the improvement in both my fitness levels and body shape. He’s very supportive and always encourages you to reach your goals. The sessions are always different which make each one interesting and always tailored to specific areas of improvement. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some personal training sessions that are fun, energetic and individualised.

I found out about Whiteway Fitness charity class by the flyers around the village, I am not the fittest of people so wanted something that I could feel working. The first two weeks my body ached which I took as a good sign, by week three my body had adjusted and I knew I was doing good. Tom was very helpful and always made sure I was doing it right. If you’re looking for a good all over body workout, then definitely try Whiteway Fitness.

Bev Simpson – (Charity Fitness Class)

Tom’s classes have been hard work, but much fun. He is encouraging, but makes you work to the best of your own ability. Each exercise has different levels, and its fine to work at the level that suits you, although Tom will push you to give a bit more which helps. Each exercise is explained so you know what muscle group you are working on. The class varies from week to week, so it doesn’t become repetitious. Always hated keep fit classes in the past. Love this one.

I have been going to Tom’s classes that he has been running for charity – what a great idea. The workouts are challenging and fun at the same time. Tom is really encouraging and helps you to push yourself that little bit harder. What has really impressed me is his knowledge of the body and nutrition, he explains why we are doing a certain exercise and ensures you are doing it correctly. Tom, thank you for running the Charity Fitness Class, it is the only thing that I feel I am able to do to try to gain some kind of fitness!  I really enjoy the classes because you tailor them to our ability but always seem to get more out of us than we think we can achieve! The classes are great fun and are attended by others like me who appreciate them being serious enough to do some good, but not too serious that they are not enjoyable. I have certainly noticed a difference in my fitness since I have been coming, and really notice it if I can’t make it for a week or two! Keep up the good work.

Aylesbury Hockey club has been working with Tom from WhiteWay Fitness over the 2015-16 season. He has been an influential component to the success of the ladies 1st team, frankly without him I don’t believe we would have survived in the league. Tom’s sessions meet and exceed the players and my expectations as a head coach. With the player’s religious turning up in whatever conditions to the session. I feel this is due to Tom’s professionalism and excellent rapport with the players, he makes the session relevant and enjoyable whilst not compromising on achieving the most from the players. Tom has an approachable character and importantly understands individual needs and requirements to maximise the develop of the players and the team as a whole. I hope to work with Tom in the future in my coaching positions be it with Aylesbury or any other role I undertake.

Susanne Clarke – (Personal Training/Bootcamp)

Tom is such a great personal trainer and class instructor, I am not one for exercise as I find it boring and hard work but Tom knows how to make exercise fun. His bootcamps are really good fun but really good exercise too but doesn’t feel like it. The boot camp was designed for all ages and fitness levels so it really did not matter who you are these classes would suit you. Tom also makes you feel really comfortable and gives great advice to help work your ‘problem area’ and also gives great tips on a healthy diet too. I would recommend him to anyone.

Sandie Tricks – (Bootcamp/Circuit Classes)

I have thoroughly enjoyed Tom’s boot camp and circuit classes, he caters to all levels and pushes you to your own personal limits, boot camp was incredibly fun and completely different to a normal class with great results in a short space of time, and he keeps it ever changing so it doesn’t become repetitive. The circuit classes are equally challenging. Tom is very knowledgeable in fitness areas and the warm ups and the cool downs always are an important part of the classes to the point that although I know I have worked the muscles the next day I have not pulled or injured any. I highly recommend either or both of Tom’s classes.
