No-one likes to waste food, so this christmas why not make a soup with the ‘leftovers’? I have always found the best way to do this is to put all the leftover food (yes including the brussel sprouts, potatoes and even the gravy) in a large pan, add some stock (enough to cover the food) and bring to the boil. Then blitz all the food down, if you like a thinker soup add less stock and visa versa if you prefer it thinner. One this I always add into the soup is some curry powder as it gives it that extra little bit of flavour but be careful not to over power the soup by adding too much. Not long will you find this nice and filling but it is also full of goodness. Enjoy!!
