We have all had that feeling when our muscles are burning and we think we can’t go on and feel like giving up but then we think again. Mental strength plays a massive part in training – for example, if I said I would give you a million pounds if you did another rep the chances are you would find it in you to do one. Unfortunately I don’t have millions to give away to get people to push themselves but I do have another solution…….try building a house. And by that I mean think about building your ideal house brick by brick and see how much further you can push yourself by just taking your mind off the muscles that are burning.
