Drink plenty of fluids. Exercising makes you sweat which can lead to dehydration. Don’t wait until you’re thirsty, thirst is a sign your body is already dehydrated.
Eat lots of protein to ensure your body has the nutrition it needs to repair your muscles after a heavy workout. Eat lean meats, nuts and eggs for good quality protein. Don’t eat too much however as it can put a strain on your kidneys.
