Brown bread VS White bread

Despite its softness, taste and general popularity, white bread is usually stripped of all its nutrients like fibre when the wheat grain is being processed. When you eat large amounts of refined carbohydrates like wheat bread, your body produces a lot of insulin to deal with the amount of sugars entering your body which now present a problem. You body will convert these into glycogen and if this energy isn’t used up and burned off then it will be converted into fat (triglycerides) which are then stored as fat on the body. Although it is not packed full of nutrients either, whole grain bread does tend to contain more fibre and nutrients than white. All in all I would not recommend consuming large amounts of bread every day.
